The business
Center Staged Property Styling is an established property styling company that predominantly operates out of the western suburbs of Melbourne. We offer a great team culture and are looking for the right person to join our small team of stylists and installers.
The role
The role of furniture removalist/warehouse assistant involves working within the real estate industry, staging residential properties for sale. You will assist the staging team with transport and installation of furniture and décor. This means safely loading and unloading the furniture and decor between trucks, warehouse and properties.
This role also involves the organisation and maintenance of furniture at our warehouse. Warehouse tasks mainly involve packing and unloading - including shrink wrapping and furniture care.
The role can at times be physically demanding, hence the successful candidate will need to display a certain level of fitness to support the manual labour expected when moving furniture.
This is a part time position with no guaranteed weekly minimum hours and due to the nature of the business we need the applicant to be available and flexible on short notice as jobs come up throughout the week.
Experience/skills required:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate/provide the following:
Safely loading and unloading of furniture between trucks and properties
Ability to work autonomously as well as with a team
Strong work ethic
Logistical/warehouse experience
Full drivers licence
Great communication skills
Physically fit
Reliability and punctuality
