Job Description
The Medical Physicist / EMF Engineer will be reporting to Health & Environment (EMF) supervisor and will be responsible to elaborate Technical Evaluation Studies (TES) and Electromagnetic Background/Compatibility Studies (EBS/EMC) for Mobile Telecommunications Base Stations, as well as to contribute to the EMF safety of Nova & Vodafone Access Networks. The Medical Physicist / EMF Engineer will also be responsible to manage all relevant (EMF/EMC) aspects of the network Licensing procedure and reporting with EETT/EEAE.
Key accountabilities
- Exposure assessment of the RF Electromagnetic radiation levels in the environment from BSs (EMF / EMC Studies) & reporting
- EMF consultation on Radio Designs (New BS, Sharing, LTE/5G upgrades)
- EMF Field Measurements conduction & assessment
- Licensing of Radio & Transmission Access Network (EEAE/EETT)
- EMF Safety consultancy (internal)
Requirements
Essential
- BSc in Physics / MSc in Medical Physics & work permit in the field of the Non-lonising Radiation or MSc in Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering
- Highly fluent in Greek & English Language
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Strong communication, influence and relationship building skills
- Analytic thinking and problem solving capability
Desired
- Ability to work alone with minimum supervision, as well as good planning, scheduling and report writing capability
- Detailed knowledge /Experience of EEAE Technical Standard and ISO 17025 requirements for EMF Measurements
- Knowledge of EETT Licensing System (SHLYA)
- Access/SQL Database Development, Visual Basic, PYTHON
- Car Driving License
