Overview:
We are looking for an outstanding Web Experience Developer responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website and that of clients. You will help to build our client websites from concept to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.
You should be able to write clean code and ensure your programs run correctly. We also expect you to be passionate about building web platforms and perform well working in a team, along with developers, engineers and web designers.

Responsibilities:
- Build websites and layouts/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices and associated technologies, e.g. WordPress/PHP
- Produce well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Utilize data from various back-end services and databases (using APIs and other means)
- Collect and review specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Prepare and maintain web software documentation
- Maintain, expand, and scale websites as assigned
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
- Work together with interaction/digital experience designers to match visual design intent
- Resolve usability testing and UX research and feedback
- Collaborate with UI designers to implement attractive web designs
- Discuss web design ideas and prototypes with designers
Qualification:
- experience working in a Web Developer or Web Programmer position
- Significant experience with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
- Good experience with relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Excellent knowledge of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices
- Excellent knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
- Understanding of the Search Engine Optimisation process
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach
- Strong organisational skills with an excellent ability to prioritise tasks
- Good ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- Effective communication skills – excellent, fully fluent written and oral presentation skills in English are required
- Certification/Learning/Experience in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or other related areas
- All candidates must have an entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual rigour, strong discipline and personal accountability
